Freedom Pizza celebrates its third birthday with 50 percent off all online orders
Freedom Pizza, the home-grown UAE pizza company, is kicking off 2018 with offers and discounts galore for its third birthday. To celebrate, Freedom is giving 50 percent off all online orders on Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 January.
Anyone who orders online between Monday 15 and Saturday 20 January will also receive five digital discount vouchers to feast on Freedom Pizza. This includes a “VAT buster” offer that entitles customers to AED 20 off one order.
Freedom lovers will also be able to enjoy a large pizza for the price of a medium, buy one pizza and get one medium pizza for free, one free organic salad and free sandwich for lunch. Vouchers can be used one at a time, on website and app orders, until the end of February 2018.
2017 was an excellent year for the home-grown UAE pizza company, with Freedom making the move into its global HQ offices in Dubai. The forward-thinking company was selected to be part of Apple Pay’s induction to the UAE, providing customers with a convenient, secure way to pay for its wholesome, organic menu items.
Its pioneering road safety campaign resulted in a 45 percent reduction in motorcycle accidents with Freedom’s delivery riders over the last 18 months. To round off the year, Freedom Pizza signed its first multi-unit franchise agreement and was awarded The Snail of Approval by Slow Food, in recognition of its contribution to quality, authenticity and sustainability. Freedom Pizza also received a Digital Innovation of the Year award from Retail ME, for its proprietary online e-commerce platform.
Freedom Pizza’s founder and CEO, Ian Ohan, said: “I am so proud of everything we have achieved. It would not have been possible without each and every person who makes Freedom Pizza what it is, from our team to our customers. This year, we will continue to look for ways to offer customers even more value for money and of course provide the same great food, super-fast delivery and service.”
The Freedom Pizza app proved to be a favourite among customers over the past year, due to its easy to use format when selecting custom-made pizzas, which can be modified to suit vegan and gluten free dietary requirements. It also provides nutritional information allowing its customers to not only check for allergens but also view the exact number of calories, protein and sugar for each product. There are averagely 400 orders placed via the app per day, around 150,000 per year.
Freedom Pizza uses organic produce from Dubai-based Greenheart Organic Farms, using multigrain pizza dough for the base, and provides a variety of options for those who are vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free.
