Taste of Abu Dhabi, the capital’s favourite food, drink and music festival is just a few weeks away, and we are getting over excited, as the city’s top venues prepare for a weekend of foodie heaven.
There’s a record-breaking line-up of no less than seven Michelin star chefs making an appearance, including Chef Richard Sandoval of Toro Toro, the Mexican-born Chef credited with almost single-handedly making Latin cuisine one of the world’s great culinary experiences. He runs a string of award-winning Latin-inspired restaurants – in New York, Las Vegas, Washington, Acapulco, Mexico City and Dubai.
He will be joined by six Michelin star chefs from Italy at the Extraordinary Italian Taste Pavilion, a new feature at the Yas Island venue which will include live demonstrations from Italian food artisans such as fresh pasta makers, an acrobatic pizza chef, burrata making, and lemon sorbet. You can learn from the masters including Tony Lo Coco, Rosanna Marziale, Errico Recanati, Paolo Gramaglia, William Zonfa and Nicola Fossaceca.
As well as the septuplicate of world-class capocuoco, you can also expect to see celebrity chef’s Jenny Morris, Reza Mahammad, Sanjeev Kapoor and Shelina Permalloo strutting their stuff in the kitchen during the packed weekend of eating, demonstrations, classes and fun.
