Celebrity chef extraordinaire Gordon Ramsay is coming back to Dubai with three exclusive events as part of Atlantis, The Palm’s culinary month.
Chef Ramsay will return to his restaurant, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar this November with three events. Taking place over two days, from Thursday 9 to Friday 10 November, you’ll be able to take part in a special version of the Bread Street Kitchen Trivia Night, hosted by Gordon and Channel 4 Radio. There’s also a Friday Family Brunch, and a “Pie and a Pairing” night, celebrating Bread Street Kitchen’s pies.
Following its recent launch, Bread Street Kitchen’s Thursday Trivia Night sees Gordon joining Channel 4 Radio from 7pm to host a quiz night revolving around British-themed questions, Gordon trivia, prizes and live music. You get a signature cocktail on arrival, and selected free-flowing house beverages throughout dinner. The menu comprises an array of signature dishes and sharing plates, including truffle popcorn, spicy tuna tartare, tamarind chicken wings and bread and butter soft serve ice cream. It’s AED 495 per person, including arrival cocktails, dinner, and free flowing house/soft beverages.
Bread Street Kitchen’s Friday Family Brunch will see brunchers enjoy a selection of delicious hot and cold starters, including salads, cold meats, tamarind-spiced chicken wings and mini wagyu sliders, followed by Bread Street Kitchen’s great British roast, or fresh catch of the day.
For dessert, those with a sweeter tooth can enjoy a dessert board, featuring Bread Street Kitchen favourites including bread and butter pudding soft serve and Eton mess.
The experience will be completed by free-flowing house beverages and signature cocktails, as well as live entertainment from Bread Street Kitchen’s resident busker. Kids will be kept entertained with activities on the lawn including a bouncy castle, face painting and balloon bending. Budding chefs can also don an apron and take part in cookie decorating, cupcake designs and ice cream workshops. Complimentary access will also be provided to The Lost Chambers Aquarium, home to 65,000 marine animals including Sharks and Rays.
On the evening of Friday November 10, the restaurant presents an exclusive version of its “Pie and a Pairing” night, hosted by Gordon Ramsay. From 7pm onwards, Gordon will begin the evening by judging a live pie cooking contest with the presenters from Channel 4 radio, whilst guests enjoy canapes and a drinks reception at the bar. Following this, pie lovers will be treated to a special three course menu featuring a starter of Scottish salmon cured in beetroot, followed by steak & ale pie served with savoy cabbage and aged cheddar mash before finishing the meal with an orange & malt custard tart. Live music will be performed on the lawn by British duo, Jetlag.
Gordon Ramsay’s visit is in celebration of Atlantis, The Palms’ biggest gastronomic event yet, Culinary Month. Throughout November, residents and visitors across the UAE will be able to rub shoulders with celebrity chefs, re-discover their favourite restaurants, sample new menus and attend a whole host of epic events during the month-long gastronomy-filled affair.
