AED 65 for a four-course lunch, including a soup of the day and a takeaway coffee on the house
DIFC has become renowned on the city’s foodie map as a destination for upmarket (read: expensive) restaurants, where the suited-and-booted types clinch deals over foie gras and rare grapes. But Bazxar is bucking the trend. This hot little restaurant and bar located in the heart of DIFC has introduced an all-new business lunch menu you’re going to want to make time for.
It won’t break the budget (so the end of the month isn’t a valid argument). Between 12pm and 3pm, Sunday to Thursday, you can take a two (AED 65) or three (AED 90) course lunch to clear that midday brain fuzz.
With a complimentary soup to wet the appetite, start off with a vegetable quiche, chicken wanton salad or white penne garlic, followed by a choice of sweet soy tofu udon noodles, chef’s catch of the day or a hearty flank steak with celeriac puree. For dessert, you can choose between panna cotta with red berries or chocolate fondant with green tea ice cream.
You can even grab a complimentary takeaway coffee on the way out and give the team a high five.
Located in Gate Precinct Building 4, DIFC, Bazxar offers a cocktail bar, dining room and casual eatery.
