Celebrate Festa della Repubblica at Segreto

Celebrate Italian National Day the traditional way

Hidden among Madinat Jumeirah’s tranquil waterways and walls, Dubai’s award-winning Italian dining spot, Segreto, will be celebrating Festa Della Repubblica, Italian National Day, with 20% off for Italians, and a specially curated, week-long menu.

Italian National Day, June 2, commemorates the day Itlaians voted out the monarchy to become a republic.  To mark the occasion, Segreto’s Chef de Cuisine, Francesco Di Noia, in collaboration with Trattoria Toscana’s new head chef, Anrtonio Lacovelli, has created a limited-edition, four-course menu, available from the June 1 – 6, collating all your Italian favourites, and using the best Italian ingredients such as Tropea onions, Mazara prawns and datterini tomatoes.

Starting with a soft, creamy burrata assumicata, Chef combines smoked burrata cheese with fresh broccolini and a crisp, sweet red onion from Tropea, perfect forwarm summer days. Segreto’s homemade gnocchetti is a traditional “primo”, tossed with rich spinach cream and delicious Sicilian Mazara red prawns, known as the ‘Prince of prawns’. The main course comprises baccala con pisellini e datterini tomato confittato, buttery poached cod with green peas and a confit of sweet datterini tomatoes.

To finish, Chef includes one of his all-time favourites, cannoli con ricotta di bufala, pistacchi verdi e lamponi. The cannoli is served with rich Italian buffalo ricotta cheese, topped with pistachio and fresh raspberry.

Each dish is available separately at both Segreto and Trattoria Toscana, allowing guests to adjust their meal size in accordance with their appetite.
