Dubai’s leading private members club, Capital Club, is playing host to top UK guest chef Chef Brian Turner, who will host a series of exclusive dinners from Wednesday, February 7 to Friday 9.
One of the UK’s most successful and well-known chefs, Turner will give Capital Club members and non-members the opportunity to sample his limited-edition menu for three nights only.
Turner, who has held a Michelin Star and been awarded a CBE will be serving up a six-course tasting menu of modern British dishes including; beetroot and citrus marinated salmon with an apple and radish salad; roast lamb canon and best end with a tarragon crust, served with celeriac fondant and rosemary gratin; Yorkshire blue rarebit, and white chocolate and raspberry trifle. A five-course grape flight is also available to compliment the menu.
After training at renowned British restaurants including Simpson’s in the Strand, The Savoy, The Beau Rivage in Lusanne and Claridge’s, Turner went on to open his own restaurant, Turner’s in Walton Street, Chelsea, before opening in various locations around the UK. Combined with a successful TV career on popular shows such as Ready Steady Cook and This Morning, Turner has dominated the London food scene throughout his career and has become a household name in the UK.
Turner said, “I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the team at Capital Club Dubai and to showcase my dishes to the club’s members and people of Dubai. I hope my specially created menu, combining rich English flavours with a zesty twist, make for a truly memorable evening.”
