Publique Dubai offers a truly alpine experience in Dubai, according to the team behind the critically-acclaimed “Bistro Des Arts”, which is offering this venue as its second foray into Dubai’s dining scene.
Now open in Souk Madinat Jumeriah, this vision of long-time friends and colleagues Jonathan and Julien was born out of a desire to offer something different; a destination far removed from the competition.
Publique’s bar and restaurant apparently provides an “authentic and unprecedented” alpine experience. “Every detail of the interior evokes the warm and rustic splendour of a mountain lodge, from the traditional wooden bar, eye-catching gondola DJ booth to a chalet style terrace,” described as “a sun trap providing pristine views onto the Arabian Gulf,” rather than the piste.
Food seems to be true to the alpine theme – you can try rich foie gras crostini or an “Alpinist” burger made with fondue cheese.
Publique’s speciality dishes, Raclette – melted French cheese served with potatoes and cold cuts – or Pierrade – live hot stone cooking at your table, which will have guests preparing a choice of meats and vegetables live at the table, perfect for sharing with family and friends.
